COLUMBIA, SC Columbia police investigators are working to identify the person who seriously injured a man with a vehicle Thursday night after an alleged argument.The incident occurred in the parking lot of 2480 Millwood Ave., near the Orange Party Shop.Police Chief Skip Holbrook said the initial investigation indicates that the victim and male suspect were arguing. The suspect and an unidentified female were sitting inside a vehicle when the victim approached the car and exchanged words with the suspect.After the argument, the victim walked away for a few minutes but approaches the car again, Holbrook said. Witnesses say that s when the suspect drove toward the victim, striking him before leaving the crime scene.The suspect is accused of not stopping the vehicle or rendering aid to the victim after the incident.The victim was transported to a local hospital and is recovering, Holbrook said.Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers,Oakley Sunglasses Outlet, (888) CRIME-SC.
