Mr Galloway himself has yet to comment on the matter but a press representative told MailOnline this morning that the matter was a 'storm in a thimble'. 
This morning, it was revealed that he had received just 8,557 votes - while Labour's Miss Shah secured victory with 19,977.

Later, Mr Galloway vowed to return to politics insisting: 'Bradford will always have a central place in my heart.'
He said it had been a 'privilege' to spend three years as MP in Bradford West, 'a special place full of special people'.
He added: 'I'm going off now to plan my next campaign.'
