NFL defensive end is being investigated for alleged child abuse in Texas.
According to TMZ, Fort Bend County District Attorney John Healey but no charges have been filed.
“We’re trying to discern the truth from the untruthfulness of the claim to decide what charges, if any, will be filed,” Healey told TMZ.
The accuser reportedly claims that there have been multiple child abuse incidents that date back to 2010. The case was first reported to officials in Colorado in November but was later forwarded to Texas, as that is where the accuser claims the alleged incidents took place.
Smith, 33, signed a one-year deal with the this offseason. He appeared in all 16 games for the last season and earned a trip to the Pro Bowl as a member of the Houston Texans in 2011.相关的主题文章：
