wants to remain in charge of next season, while Crystal Palace boss is happy to see his old club survive.

Newcastle United head coach John Carver has told that he wants to remain in charge of the first team next season.
Carver was handed his current role at the start of this year following the departure of Alan Pardew to rivals Crystal Palace.
"I still want this job, I love this club but I know this is a big summer, . We have to invest, Mike has said that and that is encouraging.
I want a summer where I can bring in the players I want. Today has given me more enthusiasm to do what I want to do.
Carver made the comments following Newcastle s 2-0 victory over West Ham United at St. James Park this afternoon.
It was the ' first win in 11 league matches and saw them secure their Premier League survival.
Newcastle do need to invest in the team and sign players in the summer transfer window who will make the team competitive.

It remains to be seen if club owner Mike Ashley will keep Carver in the job. After all, the 50-year-old did not exactly do well in the second half of the season.
One manager who will certainly not be in charge of Newcastle next season is Pardew, who was happy to see him former club retain their Premier League status.
Alan Pardew: I'm pleased for the fans at Newcastle. I had a good first half of the season there.
(@) Should John Carver remain in charge of Newcastle United next season?
