Police apprehended today two suspects who may be connected to a residential burglary in North Long Beach.Officers responded around 11:30 a.m. to a burglary call in the 5800 block of Lewis Avenue, said Nancy Pratt, a spokeswoman for the Long Beach Police Department. The suspects fled and a perimeter was set up.Officers and police dogs began searching the area, Pratt said.The first suspect was found in a trash can in a church parking lot near 70th Street and Orange Avenue, she said. He allegedly had stolen jewelry on him. The second suspect was found in the backyard of a house in the 6700 block of Lemon Avenue.
