Flood Warnings continue through Friday for areas of the Arkansas River from eastern Pueblo County to Las Animas and for the Purgatoire River near Las Animas.
While our radar is showing no precipitation this morning, dense fog and mist are making for wet and slippery roads and limited visibility.
Temperatures are in the 30's and 40's.
While most computer models are hinting at 50's and 60's for today's highs -- and that sounds awfully nice -- those 50's and 60's are highly unlikely. More likely, the clouds will hold tight and hold temperatures back in the 40's for much of the day with a few of the warmer spots along the Arkansas Valley and in the Southeastern Plains warming into the 50's. Areas of rain will begin forming between 2 PM and 5 PM with rain increasing tonight.
Friday morning rain will clear, and we may be able to start breaking up the clouds by tomorrow afternoon. Highs will be in the 60's and 70's. Saturday will be partly sunny with a slight chance for a stray shower. Highs will be in the 60's and 70's. Sunday will be partly cloudy with afternoon showers. Highs will be in the 60's and 70's. Monday will be partly cloudy with afternoon showers. Highs will be in the 60's and 70's. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with afternoon showers. Highs will be in the 60's and 70's.
