Marina Arias spent three years working seven days a week. She saved $10,000 to make a down payment on a home for her three children.
Arias kept the money hidden in her apartment but was instructed by her realtor to open a savings account to qualify for a mortgage.
She brought the money with her to work because she had to start before the bank opened and intended to go to the bank at noon. Arias kept the bag of money with her but made two trips to her car.
When Arias finished her first cleaning job of the day, she took the money to her car and went back into the house to get her other items. When she returned someone had smashed the car window and the money was gone.
Arias called 911 but said it took about an hour for an officer to arrive. A crime camera is trained on the very spot where the theft went down. Arias said she called repeatedly to find out whether the camera showed the criminals in hopes it might lead to an arrest. So far she said she has received no response from police.相关的主题文章:
