The driver had reportedly left his vehicle momentarily to fill out some paperwork when the crash occurred.
Firefighters locked the scene down and evacuated the building when it began leaking fuel.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said about 10 litres of diesel fuel leaked and both the Brisbane City Council and the Environment Protection Authority had been notified of the spill.
