HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) The Houston Rockets used the momentum of a 17-4 run to begin the fourth quarter to rally back from a 13 point deficit to win Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals 115-109 over the Los Angeles Clippers Wednesday night at Toyota Center. The best-of-seven series is now even at one game apiece.

Without their defensive presence Dwight Howard found himself with an easy path to the rim. James Harden and Jason Terry found Howard for three alley-oop dunks during a Houston 14-4 run giving the Rockets a 16-10 lead with 5:57 remaining in the period.

The Rockets led after the 1st 35-24. Howard tallied 10 points and seven rebounds in the period.
The Clippers took advantage of having Jordan back in for the second period as they began the second frame on an 11-4 run including two dunks by Jordan prompting a Rockets timeout. The Clippers extended the run to 17-4 and took a 42-39 lead.
Los Angeles led by as many as 11 in the period shooting 76% from the field in the second quarter and outscored the Rockets 41-21 to take a 65-56 lead at the intermission. Griffin scored 26 of his 34 points in the 1st half.

The Rockets stormed back in spurts and eventually closed the gap to two by outscoring the Clippers 27-20
