Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett tore his right ACL and will miss the entire 2014 season, as on Twitter.
Dockett suffered a knee injury in practice Monday during a passing play on an 11-on-11 situation. An MRI later confirmed the seriousness of the situation.
He took to Twitter to thank his fans.
Thank you all for your support get well wishes. I really do appreciate it, Dockett said on Twitter. This will be a tough road to recovery but I been through worst. I ll be back better than ever. Dockett is a three-time Pro Bowler and shares the Super Bowl sack record with Reggie White.
According to a source, Tyrann Matthieu may play in the season opener for Dockett.
