There is one man who gets the job done.
"If I am doing a good job and the community is appreciating it, then I know I've done a good job. Believe me, I get a lot of criticism and I know my problem is that I want to please everybody," said Dave Pessagno, event coordinator of the Spiedie Fest.
Dave said he is constantly on the move, trying to fix and maintain order through the chaos.
He said the thing that makes Spiedie Fest enjoyable is the fact that the economy is benefiting so much from this event.
"We probably pump five million to six million dollars into our local economy. They closed down Spiedie fest at 9:15 and the restaurants were all packed in Binghamton because people went down there from Spiedie Fest," said Pessagno.
Local vendors who have been with Spiedie Fest from the beginning said they appreciate the amount of work Dave does for this event.
"People don't realize the details that will flow up to him. So Dave has done just a magnificent job," said Rob Salamida, founder of Salamida Company.
"See how my job is? You solve bathroom problems and meet-and-greet problems all at the same time," said Pessagno.
Pessagno added he doesn't think he wants to stop solving these problems for the Spiedie Fest anytime soon.
Saturday's balloon launch takes place at 6:30 p.m. and the festival will remain open until 8:30 p.m.
