It's out there and it's amazing considering the Padres spent their first 95 games working to achieve new lows in offensive ineptitude. After all, they still rank dead last in baseball with 350 runs scored - 47 fewer than the 29th-ranked Cardinals. San Diego has averaged 5.1 runs per game since the break after scoring 2.9 per game previously.That means a closer look at some of their batters for Fantasy owners. Three in particular should be considered not just for their recent hot streaks,Ray Ban Rb2140 Original Wayfarer, but as long-term lineup possibilities heading down the home stretch. All are trending significantly upward in owned/started percentage for good reason. They are the following:Second baseman : Gyorko ranks seventh in baseball this week in increased Fantasy ownership, skyrocketing from 39 to 52 percent. He has flashed all the signs of returning to his promising rookie-year form of 2013 since emerging from a long stint on the disabled list. Gyorko is 8 for 19 in his last five games with two home runs, two doubles, seven RBI, four runs and, most encouraging considering his past struggles to make consistent contact, just three strikeouts. He has reported that he feels quite comfortable at the plate. His power potential when he's right could make him an elite option at second base.Left fielder : Gyorko has nothing on Solarte in regard to roster trends. Solarte's ownership has catapulted up 24 percent this week following the July 22 trade that sent him over from the Yankees. He's earned the attention with 13 hits in his last 40 at-bats, eight RBI and eight runs scored over a period of just nine games. Solarte, who flashed early in the year in the Big Apple, has slotted into primo spots in the lineup since arriving in San Diego, batting second, third and fifth in the order. He is certainly worthy of the increased Fantasy attention.First baseman : Here's a 26 year old who hasn't caught the eye of Fantasy owners quite yet. He owns a 4/2 percent owned/started ratio, but that should rise markedly after his 5-for-5,Cheap Ray Ban Sunglasses, two-homer performance Friday night. That explosion was not the first indication of Fantasy potential for Medica, who is 13 for 26 in his last seven games with eight RBI. Medica is playing a position that requires strong Fantasy production, but he has earned at least a curious look from owners and perhaps DH or corner infield consideration in deeper leagues.There are other Padres worth noting, including shortstop , who has shown signs since coming off the disabled list of recapturing his pre-suspension form of 2013, and catcher , who is earning increased playing time. The Padres are not destined to continue leading the National League in runs scored over the final third of the season, but the recent surge of several of their players should pique the interest of Fantasy owners.
