Last month, George R.R. Martin started a to benefit Santa Fe's Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary, offering two $20,True Religion Jeans Outlet,000 donors the chance to be written into () an upcoming Song of Ice and Fire book. An anonymous female and claimed the two spots, but as the reports, a 13-year-old boy from the U.K. recently sent Martin a hand-written letter, donating his savings ( 153, or around $250) for his own chance at a "gruesome, grizzly death."
"Wolves are my favorite animal, and when I grow up, I want to be a wolf conservationist," the boy wrote, adding that he wasn't allowed to watch "certain bits" of . "Maybe you have heard of the Wolf Conservation Trust near Redding in the U.K.,True Religion Hoodies," he continued.
Martin declined the offer, noting playfully that "there's a limit to how many people even I can kill," but he was inspired by the boy's selfless donation and decided to pledge $10,000 to the U.K. Wolf Conservation Trust in the 13-year-old's name.
"I ve heard that you donated all your 153 pocket money savings to my Prizeo fundraiser on behalf of the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary," Martin wrote. "I cannot tell you how much that moved me. It pleases me no end to know that my novels, and the TV series based on them, have inspired readers as young as yourself to rally to the support of these majestic and too often stigmatized animals."
As for The Winds of Winter,True Religion Jeans Outlet, the next installment in the Song of Ice and Fire series, Martin is sick of hearing complaints about his slow writing pace. When a reporter for Swiss newspaper recently mentioned the grim possibility of the author dying before he could finish the books, Martin offered a : "Fuck you."
