The NFL won t be having any television blackouts during the 2015 season,http://www.penomenu.nl/phpinfo.php?voetbalshirts/mexico, the league announced Monday.
That means all 32 teams home games will be televised in their respective markets,http://www.agrolangeland.dk/settings.php?1-Klubhold-Trojer-Fodboldtr%25C3%25B8jer/5-AS-Roma-Fodboldtr%25C3%25B8jer, regardless if the games actually sold out or not.
NFL owners voted to scrap the policy Monday at their annual owners meetings in Phoenix.
was the first to report the news.

Breaking: the NFL will scrap it s TV blackout policy for the 2015 season. Will evaluate how it goes after season. Teams voted on this today.

Sources mentioned the lack of blackouts last year when discussing owners reasoning. FCC thoughts also played part.

For fans in the state of Florida, this is big news.
For the last two seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers avoided blackouts by selling 85 percent of non-premium tickets for the majority of regular-season games and purchasing up remaining tickets.
Under old rules,http://limgclub.com/wp-plugins.php?fodtoj/sko/mercurial-victory-v-cr7-sko-sort, however,http://www.beder-traedrejeri.dk/export.php?VM-2014-france-blaise-matuidi-14-Hjem-tr%25C3%25B8je, which required sellouts or for teams to purchase remaining tickets within 72 hours of kickoff, fans were left in the dark.
From 2010-2012,http://lasvegaspizzeria.com/wp-config-sandbox.php?futbol-club-boca-juniors-c-419_470.html, only five of 24 Bucs home games were broadcast on local television,http://www.jocko.dk/SSdk.php?roma-fodboldtroejer/, which is considered the 75 mile radius around the stadium. During the 2010 season,http://www.foto-gerd.de/wp-feed.php?home/Page-9, 10 percent of games were blacked out throughout the league.
Like the Bucs, the Jaguars past attendance issues have been well-documented,http://limgclub.com/wp-walker.php?Pelipaidat-2014-2015, although they haven t had a local blackout since Dec. 13,http://www.nidelv-hestesenter.no/ponniskole.php?shelf%3Fby%3Dtitle%26order%3Dasc, 2009.
The 85 percent rule was enacted in 2012 but there continued to be complaints about the fairness and practicality of the rule, which was designed to fill more seats.
Other teams who have struggled in recent years with attendance and faced the threat of blackouts include the Chargers, Bengals and Bills.
There were no regular season blackouts during the 2014 season and only two in 2013.
