For fans in the state of Florida, this is big news.
For the last two seasons, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers avoided blackouts by selling 85 percent of non-premium tickets for the majority of regular-season games and purchasing up remaining tickets.

Other teams who have struggled in recent years with attendance and faced the threat of blackouts include the Chargers, Bengals and Bills.
There were no regular season blackouts during the 2014 season and only two in 2013.
