Many of the messages of condolence that have been left are by his Grange Hill co-stars, who are understandably saddened to hear the news of his death.
Erkan Mustafa - who played the role of Roland on Grange Hill alongside Terry - led the tributes on Twitter on Friday, shortly after the news broke.

'I can not find the words to describe my shock and utter sadness on hearing my good friend and Grange Hill colleague, Terry Sue-Patt has passed away,' the actor wrote on the blog.
'Terry was a beautiful person, who I loved from the first time I met him. A fine actor,artist and a great soul,como se si la camiseta del fc barcelona es original, he will be so missed by those who were lucky enough to have known him. I will treasure forever my memories of my friendship with him.
'I'm devastated by hearing this, I send my deepest condolences to all his family and loved ones. God bless you Terry. You are legend my friend.'

He also shared a separate message on Twitter, writing: 'So shocked on hearing my good friend and Grange Hill colleague, Terry Sue Patt has passed away. Such a beautiful soul. R.I.P Terry. Legend x.'

On his Twitter page, Macdonald also shared a recent picture of himself with Terry and a group of friends from the Grange Hill days on a night out together.
