Nominations for the prestigious songwriting ceremony were announced in April,http://www.umursiparis.com/wp-title.php?catalog/product/Reebok_Andre_Johnson_Houston_Texans_Authentic_Jersey_-_Navy_Blue, with Clean Bandit's hit single Rather Be nominated for Best Contemporary Song.
The track was also nominated in the category for PRS for Music Most Performed Work,http://www.nativeprince.com/wp-walker.php?Barcelona-15-16-Koti-Lapsen-Jalkapallo-Paidat, for which they compete against Sam Smith's Stay With Me and Budapest by George Ezra.
Clean Bandit,http://tsoegaard.dk/wp-feed.php?1-Klubhold-Trojer-Fodboldtr%25C3%25B8jer/28-Newcastle-United-Fodboldtr%25C3%25B8jer, who later claimed both awards, were led on Thursday afternoon by singer Grace Chatto - who caught the eye in a flowing caped top as she sashayed inside the London venue alongside her band-mate.

In attendance: Former JLS star Aston Merrygold was also present for the event on Thursday afternoon 


Special guests: Aston was joined by nineties R B singer Gabrielle - a 2008 Ivor Novello Award winner for Outstanding Song Collection

FKA Twigs was also been nominated for Best Contemporary Song with Two Weeks as have alt-J for Every Other Freckle,http://teslaglobaltechnology.com/wp-image.php?New_York_Giants_Collectibles, while lesser-known band Bear's Den were nominated for Best Song Musically and Lyrically for their work on Above The Clouds Of Pompeii.
However, guitarist Andrew Davie previously admitted he didn't fancy the band's chances of winning the award, as they've got stiff competition from Ben Howard's I Forgot Where We Were and Hozier's Take Me To Church.

'Today was the first time I'd heard who the other nominees were, and to be even put in the same sentence as Ben Howard and Hozier is mental.'
He added: 'No, I don't think we'll win. The other two are just two amazing songs,http://www.sjoveganhytta.no/mail.php?Kvinne-skjorter-mix-mote, and I've listened to their albums a lot. They're two of my favourite albums. I'm going to be really starstruck on the night (of the awards).'

Guests on the day included All Saints singers Nicole Appleton and Shaznay Lewis, both of whom enjoyed success at the ceremony in 2001 by claiming the award for Most Performed Work courtesy of hit single Pure Shores.

Eighties legends Martin Fry of ABC and Culture Club singer Boy George- who would later claim the PRS for Outstanding Controbution to British Music - were also in attendance.
