The inquest in Newport heard that the car was still in reverse gear with the engine running when the emergency services arrived.

Mr Harper's son Dean told the hearing: 'I'm convinced he thought it was in parking [mode] and not in reverse.'
Coroner David Bowen recorded a conclusion of accidental death at the inquest yesterday.
