THOUSANDS LIVING IN CRAMPED HOMES, POLICE TELL THE PM 
David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May joined a raid by an Immigration Enforcement Team today.

He said that the arrests were made possible by improved sharing of data between Revenue and Customs and the Home Office.
He added: 'If you want one figure that demonstrates the scale of the challenge that we face, when we asked those hardworking officials from Immigration Enforcement how big the scale was that they faced, they told us this very simple fact – that according to official figures, there are 300 houses of multiple occupancy in the borough of Ealing.

Madeleine Sumption,http://verdensbedstenogensinde.dk/wp-diff.php?dame-wm-2015-695, director of the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford, said: 'Today's figures show how difficult it would be to reduce net migration to the 'tens of thousands'.

Liberal Democrat peer Lord Paddick said: 'The Tories promised to cut net migration to tens of thousands but failed spectacularly. Instead of admitting their target was a stupid idea, they have pushed the 'let's sound tough on immigration' button yet again.
'Theresa May needs to get it into her head – not all immigration is bad. If she was serious about cracking down on illegal immigration she should concentrate on what works and not tar all immigrants with the same brush.'

'Uncontrolled immigration can damage our labour market and push down wages. It means too many people entering the UK legally but staying illegally. The British people want these things sorted.
'That means dealing with those who shouldn't be here by rooting out illegal immigrants and bolstering deportations. Reforming our immigration and labour market rules so we reduce the demand for skilled migrant labour and crack down on the exploitation of unskilled workers.
'That starts with making Britain a less attractive place to come and work illegally.
'And we're going to get far better at training our own people to fill these gaps from overseas.'
Some 284,000 came to Britain in search of work, 70,000 more than in 2013. 
Latest figures also show that in the year to January to March, the number of EU nationals in work rose by 283,000, higher than the 279,000 rise in British nationals who had a job.
The number of Romanians and Bulgarians who arrived in Britain in 2014 doubled to 46,000, including 35,000 came for work.
There were 119,883 work-related visas granted in 2014, an increase of 10 per cent, including a 6,842 (15 per cent ) increase for skilled work. 
Ukip's immigration spokesman Steven Woolfe said: 'Today's government announcement on illegal migration is a smoke screen to mask today's appalling immigration statistics.
