TULSA, Okla. (May 22, 2015) Adam Toth hit a two-run homer to help give Baylor an early lead and the Bears held on to edge Texas Tech 5-4 in a pool play elimination game Friday in the Big 12 Tournament.
Toth's homer off Texas Tech starter Dylan Dusek (2-2) came in the second inning and gave eighth-seeded Baylor (23-31) a 3-0 lead after Mitch Price's RBI single in the first.
Texas Tech, seeded fourth, threatened to score several times but the Red Raiders (31-24) went 1 for 15 with runners in scoring position.
Baylor's Nick Lewis (4-2) allowed two runs and seven hits in 8 1/3 innings. Sean Spicer got the final two outs and stranded the tying run on third for the save.
Baylor moved on to meet Texas (28-25) on Saturday in a pool play final, needing to beat the Longhorns twice in order to advance to the tournament's championship game on Sunday.相关的主题文章:
