'This year we have missed all our train punctuality targets and bonus levels will reflect this, with no payments being made for this portion of the scheme.'
Last week millions of train passengers up and down the country breathed a sigh of relief after two unions called off a nationwide strike which would have brought the rail network to a standstill.
