Standing tall, Fearne wore a pair of black ankle strapped heels as she wore her blonde hair down in side parting as she clutched onto a large canvas bag. 
Revealing that her watery eyes started before she even arrive at work, Cotton took to Twitter to tell of the adorable words her son Rex had for her as she set off.
She tweeted: 'My son just looked at my rather over the top dress I'm wearing today and said "mummy princess" Tears have started before I leave the house'.

Then taking to Instagram, Cotton uploaded a snap of herself as she sat at her work station, she captioned the image: 'Here we go... For the last time'.
As musicians including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Sam Smith and James Bay all thanked her for her support over the years, Fearne gushed that she couldn't keep it together.
She tweeted: 'oh @JamesBayMusic i can not thank you enough for that! SO many tears'.

Fearne announced she was retiring from her slot at Radio 1 after 10 years in February as she also revealed she was pregnant with her second child.
In a statement uploaded to her website, she wrote: 'After much time and careful thought I have decided to leave Radio 1 after ten amazing years.'
'I have had the most incredible decade broadcasting on Radio 1, meeting wonderful people, helping break artists and watching live music from the world's best.'
