But the river is running and threatens to take out the entire site before it can be completely examined. “Igliqtiqsiugvigruag” (“Swift Water Place”), a film that addresses the relationship between the archaeology team and the village, will be screened at 7 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the Anchorage Museum. A Q A session with the film’s production team will follow the showing. It’s included with museum admission, which is half-price from 6-9 p.m. that day. ArtDaubing debutsArctic Rose Gallery is featuring a group show of artists working in alcohol ink, a popular genre that uses pigments in an alcohol medium, often applied by daubing to create a bright, marbled background. Along with originals and prints on silk and canvas, the show also includes mixed-media work. Some of the pieces are from artists who have not shown work before.
