LeBron James just had one of those games that will be talked about for a long time. On the verge of giving up a victory on their court against the top-seeded Atlanta Hawks, James led his Cleveland Cavaliers to a hard-fought win and a mammoth 3-0 advantage with a triple double (37 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists) that would seem unrealistic even in NBA 2K15. Now James is just one win away from getting back to the NBA Finals for the fifth straight season.

James would rock two Nike LeBron 12 exclusives during the game. The first colorway (pictured above) looked like a more Cleveland-centric version of the Nike LeBron 12 Double Helix colorway with varying shades of maroon (or is it wine? or burgundy?). It would last all of one quarter before switching to another PE that he would end up using for the rest of the game.
But that s not what people are going to talk about. Nope, they re going to talk about the 37 shots LeBron took throughout the entire game, including a first quarter where he missed his first 10 shots (hence the switch of shoes). Oh, and they re going to talk about how LeBron was egging it up for dramatic effect after the game. But that s just life as a fan in this day and age; instead of talking about how a player is able to shake off 10 straight misses in a row and lead his team to a win, it s easier to nitpick the parts of the performances that weren t so brilliant.
