St. Joseph, Mich. -- A former St. Joseph High School teacher, accused of having a relationship with a student, has pleaded guilty to two charges of second degree criminal sexual conduct.
26-year-old Lauren Hill was facing four counts of criminal sexual conduct – but the other two third degree charges were dropped, according to the Berrien County Prosecutor's Office.
Hill taught English at the high school, and was also the coach of the girls' soccer team. Students say that’s how the relationship started.
Hill resigned from her position with the school on May 1st.
Hill entered her plea on Wednesday. A hearing that was scheduled for Thursday morning was canceled. The judge set her sentencing for July 6 at 1:30 p.m.
Hill faces up to 15 years behind bars; her plea agreement prohibits anything less than 4 years.相关的主题文章:
