ELKTON, Va. (WHSV) - A ERHS soccer player was killed after a tractor-trailer t-boned the vehicle he and another player were riding in on Route 33.
Ethan Zander, 17,http://www.segoviayprovincia.com/teinteresa.asp?nba/new-jersey-nets-merchandise/new-jersey-nets-bedding.html, of Elkton was a passenger in the vehicle and was killed in the crash. Jeffrey Roach,http://www.lluviacaballo.com/Melomano.asp?washington-capitals-jersey-c-127_156.html, 17,https://www.gourmaleo.com/wp-rdf.php?revolution-30-spurs-14-danny-green-white-stitched-nba-jersey-p-134984.html, of McGaheysville was driving and was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with head injuries.

The truck driver in this crash is identified as Brendon Myers, 24, of Penn Laird. He was not hurt and has not been charged.

Virginia State Police say the tractor-trailer was heading east on Route 33. The teens were in a Honda Civic coming from the north. State police say the car drove into the path of the truck in front of Ciro's Italian Eatery on Route 33.
