The strength of the pound was also a large factor for over 60 per cent of British holidaymaker surveyed, while 91 per cent said that the cost of international flights or other modes of transport were the most important.
Nevertheless,http://www.nativeprince.com/wp-title.php?saksan-bundesliga/bvb-bovenaja-dortmund, those polled could agree on one thing: 88 per cent named the Balearic Islands as offering the best bang for your buck.

Eighty two per cent of British holidaymakers polled said that the Canary Islands were especially good value
The Balearic Islands, in the western Mediterranean Sea, are an archipelago of Spain boasting some of Europe's most popular holiday destinations for all ages.
While Majorca and Ibiza are known as popular party islands - particularly the resort town of Magaluf - there are several quieter options, like Menorca and Formentera,http://verdensbedstenogensinde.dk/wp-plugins.php?VM-2014-netherlands-stefan-de-vrij-3-Ude-tr%25C3%25B8je, which appeal to families looking to soak up the sun.
Of the parents surveyed, 82 per cent of parents said that the Canary Islands, which are located further south just off the coast of Africa,http://www.sellitnewark.co.uk/wp-atom.php?Chopard-c9.html, were good value.
It's not just a love-in for islands of Spain though,http://neopianroyalty.com/wp-searches.php?1-Jalkapalloklubi-Pelipaita-Peliasu/3-AFC-Ajax-Peliasu, 81 per cent of people say they have had positive experiences while visiting the Spanish mainland.

With prices dropping 16% from last year, Majorca and Menorca (pictured) also offer opportunities to save
And with prices dropping by around 16 per cent from last year in both Majorca and Menorca, beach goers will have even more opportunities to save.
While Spanish resorts took the best value slot by a landslide,http://limgclub.com/fantversion.php?fodboldtrojer/vm-troejer-2014/, Greece,http://www.vincinibottier.com/wp-theme.php?adidas-adizero-f50-indoor-or-noir-p-1196.html, USA, Bulgaria, Thailand and Portugal also earned good value ratings from a sizable amount of parents surveyed.
However, Turkey and Croatia both lost ground on their positions from a year ago.
While in the past 84 per cent of parents who had visited Turkey rated it good value at the time, the number has now dropped to just 67 per cent.

Last year,http://www.vincinibottier.com/wp-searches.php?tag/juventus, 84% of parents who had visited Turkey rated it good value,http://verdensbedstenogensinde.dk/wp-content.php?695-dame-wm-2015, but now that's dropped to just 67%
Likewise,http://www.fodig.de/plugins.php?equipment/sonstiges/jako-spielerpass-mappe-schwarz-f08.html, 68 per cent rated Croatia good value in 2014,http://cspain.dk/wp-xml.php?klubber/danmark/fc-midtjylland/, but it has now dropped down to 61 per cent - one of the lowest ratings in this year's survey.
Among the most expensive holiday destinations for families was Dubai, which ranked lowest on this year's list.
Interestingly, while value for money is unsurprisingly a key factor in deciding the destination for a family holiday abroad,http://www.tilmanngrawe.com/wp-theme.php?maillot-de-foot-psg-20142015-third-p-143.html, the survey also found that overspending is still widespread once families arrive.
On their last trip abroad, for example, parents say they budgeted an average of £715 to pay for meals and other costs - but only 25 per cent stuck to it.

Similarly, while Croatia had a 68% value rating last year,http://www.vincinibottier.com/fantversion.php?lists/botas-de-futbol-nuevas.aspx, it's now dropped to one of the lowest in the survey
Over half of families overspend their budget by 30 per cent - or a whopping £219 - while one in five families admit that they never even set a holiday budget to begin with.
Andrew Brown of Post Office Travel Money said: 'Cost is bound to be a major factor for most parents planning a family holiday abroad and it's encouraging to see a high level of awareness about the importance of factoring in resort prices to calculate the overall budget.
'The good news for holidaymakers is that prices have tumbled in many European destinations thanks to a combination of improved exchange rates and lower prices in resorts.'相关的主题文章:
