Her father is movie star Alec Baldwin, but 21-month-old Carmen prefers to see what twinkles in the sky instead.
So Hilaria Baldwin, who is Alec's wife, took their daughter for a night of stargazing in New York City on Monday. 
'Carmen is obsessed with the moon and stars and here you can see her looking up at them on our walk tonight,' the 30-year-old captioned an Instagram snap at the conclusion of their Memorial Day outing.

The yoga instructor continued to gush about her little girl's fascination with things that sparkle above, noting that the tot's latest obsession is a Cloud B Ladybug night light.
'We have a @cloud_b ladybug that projects stars on Carmen's ceiling while going to bed,' she explained. 'She names them after family and friends every night and says good night to them and that she loves them.
'Tonight she started saying, "bless you Mama, bless you Dada, bless you Gitana, bless you Dama, bless you madrina..." To each star. She's amazing...truly amazing #PerfectWayToEndMemorialDay #Gratitude.' 

Big girl! The tot was assigned dog walking duties on their way home
In her photo, the Extra correspondent is seen squatting next to her baby girl as they both look to the heavens in awe. 
For their walk back home, Hilaria allowed little Carmen to lead the way - and take on dog walking duties. 
In another snap shared with her social media followers, the youngster is seen holding onto the leash of their Lhasa Apso named Gitana.
She wrote: '21 months and she's pulling her own weight already. Watch out @greenwichvillagedogwalker ...you've got some competition! #BestBuds.'

Not seen on the excursion was Still Alice actor Alec. 
However, a day earlier the 57-year-old enjoyed a dinner with his ladies at Bar Pitti and then the family took an evening stroll through Manhattan's West Village neighborhood.
It seems Hilaria noticed some celestial phenomenon in the sky on that occasion too and pointed it out to the Golden Globe winner.
