Dquante J.S. Stewart, 22,of the East Side, was arrested Thursday by Columbus police.
In the early morning of September 25, police were called to the 800 block of E. 5th Avenue just
east of Interstate 71 after residents heard shots fired.
Sabrina E. Jackson, 41, was one of two victims found by police. Jackson died at the scene.
The other victim, Ricky Searcy, 55, was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center and
survived the shooting.
Stewart is also charged with felonious assault in Searcy’s shooting.
Police said the investigation remains open, and anyone with information is asked to call
