This year is the 22nd annual Cinema Against AIDs black-tie gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, situated just half an hour drive from Cannes.
Last year's event raised a record $35 million for amfAR, a foundation dedicated to ending AIDS through research.
As well as the live auction - which will see a stunning Harry Winston cluster necklace up for grabs - the event will also included musical performances and a fashion show.
