President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that an 'expansion' for Bloodborne is on its way.
So I have been asked by many people if we are making DLC for Bloodborne. I can say... An expansion is coming. More info later this year.

While the news is unsurprising, it's unusual we've not heard about any potential DLC until now. From Software's previous game Dark Souls 2 received three (great) DLC packs, and hopefully it will follow a similar model here - although the use of the word 'expansion' is an interesting one.
