Atlanta Police are investigating a possible kidnapping after a woman handed a note to a fast food worker saying she was being held against her will.

CONNECT 49 TWEETCOMMENTEMAILMOREATLANTA (WXIA) -- Atlanta Police are investigating a possible kidnapping after a woman handed a note to a fast food worker saying she was being held against her will.
She secretly left the note with the clerk at the Wendy's at 1940 Piedmont Road,http://www.welshdiving.co.uk/wp-searches.php?6000-series-deployment-straps-c-1_50, NE, which is near the Monroe Drive exit of I-85.
Then she went back outside and rode off with a man who was driving a pickup truck.
Atlanta police don't know what was really going on, but they are treating this as if the woman is in danger.
Detectives hope to access the restaurant's security video soon, in case someone might recognize the woman, or the man who was driving the pickup truck.

Charles Hampton.
Lt. Hampton said he doesn't know why the woman wrote a note instead of just telling the clerk.

And he said the woman was not acting distressed, but might have felt she was under some sort of threat if she drew attention to her circumstances.
"I believe the driver of the pickup truck ordered food at the drive-thru, and then she came in to use the restroom, and I believe at that time, that's when she saw an opportunity to elicit help from authorities."

Police are looking for a white pickup truck similar to the gold one pictured here,http://www.danalund-drageriet.dk/vendanafor.php?blog/category/inter/, a 1997 Ford Ranger pickup.
A clerk wrote down the tag,http://www.ausblow.com.au/phpinfo.php?announcement, it's a Georgia tag from Rockdale County, AZR 1028.
Police say the urgency of finding that pickup truck quickly outweighs any concern about exposing the woman's secret note to the Wendy's clerk.
Detectives are checking across Georgia and beyond to see if any missing persons reports match the vague description they have of the woman.
They also have a vague description of the driver. They say he is white with long hair,http://www.faz-transports.com/wp-config-sandbox.php?club/identite/detail/card/le-blason, and was wearing a green shirt. That's all they have, so far.
Lt. Hampton said he expects that as soon as Tuesday he will have the security video to release to the public.
