The Brooklyn Nets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder remain in the league. Although Billy Donovan is the Thunder s new head coach, don t expect Donovan to be prowling the sidelines. Assistant coaches typically serve as head coaches during summer league play.
As in past years, the event will be held on the Magic s practice court and will be closed to the public due to space considerations and to avoid distractions.
The Celtics and 76ers will participate in the Utah Jazz Summer League in Salt Lake City and also in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Rockets will play in the NBA Summer League.
