FORT HOOD (July 17, 2014) A bat found in a Fort Hood motor pool building tested positive for rabies, the fourth confirmed case on post in a little more than two months.
The Fort Hood Veterinary Center was notified Thursday that the bat found in the area of the Department of Public Works motor pool,
Oakley Eyepatch, building 4001, was rabid.
The first case on May 12 was a skunk found in a motor pool building on Motor Pool Road.
On May 16 a rabid dark gray and white kitten attacked a resident outside a home on Central Drive on post,
Washington Redskins- Ranking Top Position Battles.
The resident received post-exposure treatment.
On June 6, a young fox found in the vicinity of the LV Phantom area and building 53905 near Clarke Road tested positive for rabies.
