The St. Paul Saints scored two runs in the eighth inning to top the Wichita Wingnuts, 9-7 on Saturday night in St. Paul, Minn.
Brent Clevlen and Jake Kahaulelio led the Wingnuts at the plate, with Kahaulelio connecting for a two-run home run and Clevlen going 3 for 5 with a solo home run, his 12th of the year.
Angelo Songco hit his 11th home run of the season for the Saints, a three-run shot.
Alex Hinshaw was the losing pitcher for the Wingnuts in relief, giving up one hit, two earned runs and walking two in the eighth. Dan Sattler picked up the win for St. Paul.
