Le Tote is an online fashion rental service for women's apparel and accessories that bills itself as a "Netflix for your closet." For a $49-a-month subscription, you fill out a style profile to gauge your tastes and sizes, then a stylist picks out three garments and two accessories and they show up in a "tote" in the mail. You can keep the items as long as you want, then send them back in a prepaid box and a new tote is mailed. Kind of a bummer you don't get to pick out your own stuff, but they supposedly follow up to see if you liked what you received. Latest on the site: "Fashion must-haves for your next weekend getaway," with cute white shirts and sleeveless tops, red walking shorts and gladiator-style sandals.Pretty cool idea for the uber-trendy who wouldn't think of wearing the same thing twice. Me, I still have (and wear, in winter) a thigh-length cowl-neck sweater I bought at the now-defunct Casual Corner in the now-demolished Sunnyvale Town Center mall where my friend Jeannie worked when we were in high school.
