Rocking it, old styleJust because you're old doesn't mean you have to throw in the fashion towel. The proof is in the pics that blogger Ari Seth Cohen has collected over the past four years, shopping the streets of New York in search of the most stylish and creative older folks and chronicling the couture of these fashion-forward, anything-but-fogies at . "Respect your elders,
True Religion Mens Jeans," he writes, "and let these ladies and gents teach you a thing or two about living life to the fullest."

)Cohen highlights fab senior-style moments of those 70 and beyond, even a few chic centenarians who are still rocking it, grown-up style, with everything from elegant simplicity to eccentric flair. It's a new wrinkle in style circles, where this crowd is oft ignored. Cohen now has a film coming out, called "Advanced Style: The Documentary," scheduled to open in some U.S. theaters in late September. If you can catch it, be sure to dress to your nines. Or to your 90s, as the case may be.Netflix for fashionA friend just told me about an item she saw in a fashion mag at the salon. Le Tote is an online fashion rental service for women's apparel and accessories that bills itself as a "Netflix for your closet." For a $49-a-month subscription, you fill out a style profile to gauge your tastes and sizes, then a stylist picks out three garments and two accessories and they show up in a "tote" in the mail. You can keep the items as long as you want, then send them back in a prepaid box and a new tote is mailed. Kind of a bummer you don't get to pick out your own stuff, but they supposedly follow up to see if you liked what you received. Latest on the site: "Fashion must-haves for your next weekend getaway," with cute white shirts and sleeveless tops, red walking shorts and gladiator-style sandals.Pretty cool idea for the uber-trendy who wouldn't think of wearing the same thing twice. Me, I still have (and wear, in winter) a thigh-length cowl-neck sweater I bought at the now-defunct Casual Corner in the now-demolished Sunnyvale Town Center mall where my friend Jeannie worked when we were in high school.
