Reports told that 45 people have died in a suspected attack by the radical Islamic sect Boko Haram a population of northern Nigeria, where the terrorists fired indiscriminately on people.
The attack came in the early hours of Monday in the town of Dille,True Religion Jogging Suits, in the northern state of Borno, political and operational stronghold of the insurgent group.
Terrorists came in a convoy of twenty vehicles and also to shoot few found in its path, burned dozens of homes and businesses, some of the victims told the newspaper The Punch .
We were caught by surprise most were sleeping and woke us up with religious chants and gunfire, said Njimtiku Papka, one of the neighbors who along with many others managed to flee to the hills surrounding the town.
After the two hours of attack, a military aircraft flying over the area in search of the attackers, but the Army has not provided any information.
Borno is one of three states in which the Government of Nigeria has declared a state of emergency, but this measure has failed to stop the attacks of the radical militia, which this year has killed nearly 4,000 people.
Boko Haram, which in local language means non-Islamic education is a sin , struggle to impose an Islamic state in Nigeria, a country with a Muslim majority in the north and predominantly Christian south.
Since the police ended in 2009 with the then leader of Boko Haram Mohammed Yusuf, the radicals held a bloody campaign that has intensified in recent months.
