Doctoral Program in Management
Dr. Murphy's research interests involve the social psychological aspects of reporting and auditing, particularly when economic and psychological forces are at odds. She is keenly interested in the psychological aspects of fraud and ethics. Her current work examines the fraud triangle and factors that help predict fraud. Her work is published in top accounting and business journals including: ; Organizations and Society; Contemporary Research; and Journal of Business Ethics.

Dr. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology, and the Canadian Psychological Association. He has published well over 150 research articles, 50 book chapters and several books on leadership; workplace violence; work stress, unions, work and family; and occupational health and safety.

Professor Purda conducts empirical research in finance focused on the areas of law and finance, credit ratings, and corporate governance. Her work has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies, the American Law and Economics Review, and the Journal of Financial Research. Her industry experience includes investment banking with Nesbitt Burns, where she worked on mergers and acquisitions, equity issues and divestitures. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Dr. Lynnette Purda, PhD

Dr. McGill research focuses on revenue management and dynamic pricing and related problems in transportation science and statistical analysis. In 2008, he was awarded the Research Historical Prize in Revenue Management and Pricing from INFORMS (the Institute for Operations Research and ). Jeff is a Senior Editor for Production and Operations Management and former Associate Editor for Operations Research and Transportation Science.
Dr. Jeff McGill, PhDDr. Dacin's areas of expertise include consumer behavior, branding, sales force and services management, corporate reputation and social responsibility, and social entrepreneurship. His publications appear in several journals including the Journal of , the Journal of Research, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of Advertising Research and the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Organization Science.
