Each May. the Iowa City Public Library celebrates National Historic Preservation Month with Weber Days.
Irving B. Irving B. Weber Elementary School is named in his honor and his statue stands at the corner of Linn Street and Iowa Avenue.
Weber wrote more than 800 articles capturing the history of Johnson County. As a lifelong resident of the area,http://www.bonus-invest.no/up.asp?manchester-city-fc-28, Weber knew the community and its history intimately.
