A letter written by Albert Einstein to students at a Brazilian college has emerged after nearly 65 years.
The typed note, written in German and signed by the physicist, had been locked away in a school safe at Colégio Anchieta in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
It was rediscovered along with a signed photograph of the scientist when the college was making preparations for its 125th anniversary.

It reads: 'He who knows the joy of understanding has gained an infallible friend for life.
