CONNECT 22 TWEETCOMMENTEMAILMORECHESTER, S.C. --With the perfect date and the perfect dress, it was a night Hannah Price will never forget.
Hannah is an outgoing 21-year-old who loves to read, sing and mostly dance. She's overcome many obstacles, including surgery to repair three holes in her heart. "Everything they said Hannah can't do Hannah's done it," sister Meredith Price said.
Hannah's teacher Anthony Sterling says Hannah is an "outgoing, responsible student who loves to learn new things." Hannah's family said they always knew what a special addition Hannah would be to the world. Her sister says she proves that everyday including May 16, prom night.
"We had an amazing night," Hannah said. Jake says, it was his night that was made, not Hannah's. "I was honored she asked me I didn't even think twice about it," Jake said.
Her pink prom dress and flower corsage were only small additions to the countless memories they've already made growing up. "Hannah's always been my best friend," Jake said.
A professional photographer spotted the two while they were taking prom pictures and selfies at a park in Rock Hill and offered to take their pictures for them. Another stranger even footed the bill for their prom dinner at Outback. "It just reminds you that there's humanity still out there," Meredith Price said.
Hannah's family said they knew Jake would take care of her and that she'd always have someone to dance with. "We were the last ones on the dance floor," Hannah said.
This wasn't just a special night for Hannah it's something her family says they'll always be grateful to Jake for and they can't wait to cheer Hannah on at graduation May 30.
