Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon, GA (due August 7th), opens with "Statesboro Blues" and moves through a set list of Allman Brothers and solo songs, as well as covers like Muddy Waters' "I Can't Be Satisfied." Above, watch Gregg and company bring down the house with that encore jam on "One Way Out," searching its heavy groove for new turns and quirks.
The LP was recorded on January 14th, 2014 at Macon's 1,000-seat Grand Opera House. The band included Potts, guitarist Scott Sharrard, bassist Ron Johnson and longtime Allman Brothers percussionist Marc Qui ones. Gregg's son Devon Allman joins as a special guest.
"Macon has a very special place in my heart," Gregg Allman tells Rolling Stone. "To go back there and play this show was heavy, and to be on stage there with Devon, made it even heavier. The whole thing made me very proud."相关的主题文章:
