She claimed she put the belt around Ms Ayers' neck. When Ms Ayers bucked her, she claimed Duffy took hold of the belt and pulled.
Duffy's case was that Ms Ayers' killing was a thrill kill carried out spontaneously by Evans and was not planned in conjunction with him. While he was present during the strangulation, he said he did not join in.
The teenager told the court Evans grew angry when she heard Duffy and Ayers having sex and grabbed the leather belt.

Then she started going on about how Ivan Milat was in that book and told me 'I used to try and write to him but they would send the letters back.'
Duffy had admitted to helping bury Ms Ayers' body, along with a man named Scott Derbridge.
Duffy was also found guilty of robbing Ms Ayers' parents' house.
Evans admitted to murder, and both she and Derbridge received discounts on their sentences for giving evidence at Duffy's trial.
The sentencing process will begin in August.
