The youth group of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Biloxi and Loaves & Fishes, a Biloxi community kitchen, will host a fish fry starting 11 a.m. on Monday adjacent to the Loaves & Fishes building at 610 Water St. in Biloxi.
The event is being held to raise funds so that Loaves & Fishes can continue to feed the hungry. The Biloxi Police Department, who will fry the fish, as well as volunteers from Loaves & Fishes, Church of the Redeemer Episcopal Church and St. Michael's Catholic Church also are participating.
The fish fry will continue until the fish are gone. The $8 donation includes two sides, dessert and a choice of beverage. There will be no charge for children under the age of five.
Sponsors include several restaurants, organizations and retail establishments. All proceeds will benefit Loaves & Fishes Inc.
The L&F Kitchen was organized in 1983 and serves between 6,000 and 8,000 meals each month to the homeless and disadvantaged in Biloxi.相关的主题文章：
