Several film stills from Ant-Man have already been released ahead of its July 17 release date.

This adaptation sees Paul's Scott Lang as a petty thief who receives the powerful Ant-Man suit from businessman Hank Pym (Michael) - who, in the comic books, was the original Ant-Man, making his debut in a standalone story in 1962. 
Lang's ex-wife Maggie will also appear in the movie, played by Judy Greer, along with their daughter, Cassie, played by Abby Ryder Fortson. 
Hank - who reveals is much older than his comic book counterpart - is played by Michael, and mentors Lang, teaching him how to use the Ant-Man suit so that he can retrieve Pym technology that has landed in the wrong hands.

Hope's comic book counterpart is actually more of a villain, who later takes on the role of a character named Red Queen.
It seems that the movie's Hope may have some sort of a darker side, as she appears to have sided with Darren Cross (Corey) to try and oust her father from his company.

Naughty to nice: Evangeline Lilly plays Hope Van Dyne, who at first sides with the man who stole her father's company, but then likely reconciles so she can assume the role of Wasp
However, her character also has ties to heroine Wasp, and seeing as her look is based on that of Janet Van Dyne from the comic books, it is likely the film will explore her relationship with her father,http://medyamagazine.com/wp-pass.php?replica-vs-genuine, leading to a reconciliation that will end with her assuming that role.
