Praising her presenting pal and co-designer (the pair are the faces of Very clothing), best friend Holly Willoughby tweeted: 'sad goodbye to @Fearnecotton on @BBCR1 end of an era! What a decade it's been missy! Xxx.'
She added: 'Crying listening to @Fearnecotton on @BBCR1... So much has changed in the last 10 years but motherhood is the greatest adventure of all.'
Overcome with emotion, Fearne posted a message that read 'Thank you thank you' alongside a link to her website where she detailed her time on Radio 1.
